INX Media is poised to launch their flagship television channels -- Indias popular Hindi General Entertainment Channel (GEC) 9X, along with the country's No. 1 Music Entertainment Channel 9XM -- in the Middle East.

Nearly Rs 3,000 crore of ad spend flows to the GEC or general entertainment channel genre annually and almost Rs 400 crore of that is focussed on the primetime band during the summer. General entertainment channels like Star and Zee will now have to contend with Set Max's DLF Indian Premier League where the action starts at 4 pm from April 18.
