WPI inflation for Novemebr rose to 7.52 percent, 14-month high, from 7 percent in October. Onion prices moderate, but potatoes and vegetables are the big culprits. September WPI also revised higher to 7.05 percent from the provisional 6.46 percent.

We need practical rbi governors not bookish ones like what we have. When will rbi ever realise that repo rate has nothing to do with taming inflation. If onion prices rise due to sharad pawar`s corrupt policies, the cpi index rises and the stupid rbi fellows raise the repo rate. Perhaps

No to retail FDI may be OK. But whether would he ascertain that onion price would not rise to Rs75 a kg which we met on and often? Whether would he ascertain the price of fine quality rice would be brought back into Rs300/- per 25kg bag?

B B What understand word cronycapitalism is marketing with or without armlength for any commodity be it onion or gas.At d time of scarcity market forces can never discover d real price.Do u think onions price was correct at Rs 70/kg?That is d reason of my assume that market freedom is not correct

Buddy Wake up, everytime, you are posting 4500 levels.. Nifty might or might nor come to that level, but as of now it is @6000. Remember, when onion prices shoot up to 100, does it worth 100 rs, no, but there is a demand for it, sometimes prices rises on speculation/manipulation and what not. Try

maximindia ONIONS are not under a PSC and neither is producing onions the same as producing gas. By the way GoI had and has no control over the onion prices. Like onion prices came down by natural forces so would have natural gas come down if free market forces were allowed and production
