National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, deciding on revision petition filed by CERS, Ahmedabad, and another, held that Power of Attorney holder is entitled to file complaint under the Consumer Protection Act and has directed New India Assurance to pay Durga Dalal Rs 10000 with 10%per annum interest.

The Honble Delhi High Court has granted stay order on the verdict passed by Delhi State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission against GoAir to award compensation of Rs 15,000/- to each passenger of a cancelled flight by a Bench comprising Honble Justice Pradeep Nandrajog.
