Debashis Basu, Editor, MoneyLIFE Magazine commends the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for the way it has cracked the Pyramid Saimira case. However, he further said that such thing keep happening. "Collusion, unusual price rise, unlawful gains etc this is a part and parcel of this market," Basu said.

The market seems to seeing some stocks that are being ramped up artificially or seeing circular trading. SP Tulsian said there always has been circular trading. Debashis Basu of Moneylife Magazine rues that this has always been a part of the Indian market and will probably continue to forever, he said, as the regulators are lax.

Sylph Technologies and KGN Industries both relisted at nominal values but spiralled up absurdly, with no fundamentals to justify their upward move. Deena Mehta, Former VP, BSE said said relistings can be monitored using mock circuit filters of exchanges. There is a need for more transparency for relisting of stocks, she said.
