Equity funds ended in a positive terrain as markets closed in a green zone. On the debt front, both Long term and Short term category delivered good performance recording no decline.

Equity funds managed to end with positive returns inspite of markets ending on a flat note. The BSE benchmark fell 4.48 points, to close at 16,217.82 while NSE fell 1 point to close at 4,920.40.

As the markets closed higher, all equity and balanced schemes registered positive returns with only few losers in either category. Meanwhile debt funds too were seen delivering good performance.

The markets fell as much as 1.1% as the falling rupee weighed on investor sentiment. All Equity and Balanced funds ended with negative returns recording few gainers. Meanwhile Debt funds continue to deliver good performance.
