sir, as per my understanding if shares are allotted to any single investor without giving a chance to existing or new shareholders, it is classified as allotment of shares on preferential basis. and hence lock in clause applies. can you clarify why would promoters in this case not come under

Dear Kuhad, I understand ur frustration and respect the feelings for our country. but fact remains that foreign investors are large investors in our equity markets and hence their data has direct impact on us. its like if obama/ bernanke sneezes, our market gets cold. for us not to get affected
