remote at the moment as profitable airlines have shown no interest in spicejet (probably the cases) but are vying to get into indigo airlines. Nevertheless I will retain the nominal shares i hold or write them off but i do not see any turnaround or fdi possibility for spicejet in the near future. Thanks

, the BJP led NDA ran the country well like lets say Indigo airlines is the only profitable running airlines in India running well. The useless congressiyas came and turned India into the equivalent of kingfisher airlines. They turned a good situation with a positive current account and a very low fiscal

What SpiceJet needs is NOT ONLY fund infusion in the form of FDI, BUT ALSO a partner like Qatar Airways. This is important because Jet Airways has Etihad, Tata has AirAsia and Singapore Airlines and Indigo Airlines will have some one in the near future.

With no god-father to help at the Center (national level) and with the new BJP government`s Rajiv Pratap Rudy (who is expected to become Civil Aviation minister) expected to favour Indigo Airlines (SpiceJet`s rival), FDI in SpiceJet will be a distant dream to realise.
