to cool weather. Kerala will be truly at the receiving end this year because due to the Mullaperiyar fears water level in Idukki dam which supplies much of the state`s electricity, was reduced substantially.

slower process than the "breaking" of an arc dam. If the Mullaiperiyaru dam breaches, the water will reach the Idukki dam which has 7 times the capacity and is never more than half full. Not a single life will be lost, unless the kerala government allows 35 lakhs of people to go boating in the idukki

AK, I share your views. Water sharing is a universal bomb shell be it African, American, Europe or Asian continents. There is a view point that if dam collapses, water will go to Idukki dam. But the question is, if it collapses, the chain effect of the disasterous energy created by water flow
