Equity funds managed to end with positive returns inspite of markets ending on a flat note. The BSE benchmark fell 4.48 points, to close at 16,217.82 while NSE fell 1 point to close at 4,920.40.

Equity funds finally broke its losing spell after a gap of 5 sessions. The session ended with BSE gaining 112.41 points or 0.69%, to close at 16,328.25 while NSE went up 0.71% or 35 points to 4,942.80.

Equity funds ended in a positive terrain in yesterdays volatile trading session. The BSE benchmark gained 81.63 points or 0.48%, to close at 16,912.71 while the NSE benchmark closed at 5,114.15, up 27.30 points or 0.54%.

Equity funds succumb under market pressure leading posting negative returns. The Nifty fell 13 points or 0.25%, to close at 5189 while Sensex was down 20.62 points or 0.12%, to close at 17,130.67.
