During the April-June quarter of calendar year 2008 (2Q 2008) the overall India client PC market grew 8.1% YoY (2Q 2008 over 2Q 2007) in terms of unit shipments to record sales (shipments) of 2.085 million. In the same period (2Q 2008 over 2Q 2007) desktop PC shipments displayed a drop of 2.4%, while notebook PC shipments showed a growth of 51.2%.
