Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) expects to almost triple revenues from emerging markets in the next 4-5 years. Currently emerging markets contribute about seven per cent to TCS overall revenues; we expect that to go up to 20 per cent in next 4-5 years, Mr Gabriel Rozman, Executive Vice President Emerging Markets, TCS told Business Line.

TCS sets up strategic unit to expand presence in emerging markets. New strategy to diversify revenues and risks, expand business in emerging markets and explore new sources of talent. New Unit will focus on emerging markets across Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.

TCS has come out with its Q3 results. Its Q3 net profit was at Rs 1330.8 crore versus Rs 1247 crore, QoQ. Its revenue stood at Rs Rs 5924.1 crore versus 5639.8 crore, QoQ. They said there's no reason to believe prices will go down, and pricing is stable with an upward bias, but continued rupee appreciation will hurt margins, reports CNBC-TV18.
