"In 2005 we launched sparkling fruit juices with Appy Fizz. We launched it originally as a niche product but over time we saw the acceptance of the product," Parle Agro Joint Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer Nadia Chauhan told PTI.

Parle Agro has re-launched its flagship brand Frooti. The 30 year old iconic mango drink has a new packaging, logo and of course marketing strategy. The aim is to widen Frooti's consumer base, increase market share by 10-15 percent and clock a 50 percent growth.

the demand for Frooti in whole of India is bigger than all of Africa, Europe and Latin America put together. If Godrej is not able to hold its products in its home turf of Mumbai, then whats the point going international ?
