NAVs slips led by weak global and local cues

Equity funds yet again ended in a red zone for the fifth consecutive session led by weak market condition. The session ended with BSE losing 77.14 points or 0.47% at 16,215.84 while NSE was down by 21.10 points which close at 4,907.80.

The downfall in the equity segment continued on account of weak market condition. The trading session ended with BSE benchmark falling 127.07 points or 0.77% at 16,292.98 and the NSE at 4,928.90 down by 36.80 points or 0.74%.

The depreciating rupee and General Anti-Avoidance Rule( GAAR) issues have raised concerns about the performance of Indian Equity markets. In the yesterdays trading session, benchmark Sensex fell 320 points or 1.9% to close at 16831, and the 50-share Nifty closed at 5086, down 101 points.

Equity funds continue to slide owing to weak market outlook. In the market session, the Benchmark Sensex closed at 17151.19 down 150.72 points or 0.87% while the Nifty ended at 5188.40 down 50.75 points or 0.97%.

Equity funds succumb under market pressure leading posting negative returns. The Nifty fell 13 points or 0.25%, to close at 5189 while Sensex was down 20.62 points or 0.12%, to close at 17,130.67.

Equity funds ends with negative returns amid volatile trading session. The BSE benchmark fell 56 points or 0.33%, to close at 17,151.29 and the NSE benchmark declined 20.65 points or 0.4% to 5,202.
