New Enterprise Associates, a mid-market private equity firm, and GTI Capital Group , an investment advisory firm, are investing USD 27 mn (Rs 123 crore) in Airworks India Engineering Pvt. Ltd, a leading provider of aviation services, sources close to the development told VCCircle.

The bid for Rs 200 cr project was invited by Ministry of Civil Aviation and is among the first of the 24 non-metro airports out of 35 taken up for development by the government through public-private partnerships.
