which is the best plan to invest in your opinion where interest rate is higher in long run through SIP option. Will you suggest to invest in a newly launched SIP/ and then opt to the balance fund or any other fund to grow money in next 20/25 years. I am above 60 years and need your help.

Dear Kands 2017, Good Morning !! I follow one simple route - investment in Balanced Fund - getting flavor of Debt and Equity along with high return compared to Debt. More over there is no tax implication if I get back money after a year. You could think of this route if it fits your needs well

Wouldnt advise a lump sum investment in MFs. Since you are a beginner, start with with a mix of one Large cap fund, one Balanced fund, one small and mid cap fund thru a SIP mode . Pl go thru Valueresearchonline and Moneycontrol website to select the funds. In case of doubt, u could contact me
