Talking on what Pranab Mukherjee may present in the budget, Adi Godrej, Chairman, Godrej, said we clearly need growth orientation. If we can get growth back to 8-9% in a short period of time it will create a virtual cycle. If we dont we will end up in a vicious cycle.

Commenting on the Satyam saga, Ashok Wadhwa of Ambit Holdings said request by Satyam board seeking SEBI nod for waiver from 26-week average price for open offer fair is not relevant. Meanwhile, Ajay Shah of NIPFP said Satyam is a liquid stock, and must account for extraordinary events. So the price must be the average price of the last one week.
Markets firm: Experts give status check on midcaps

The markets have been on a roll since opening trade today. While the markets have touched newer highs, the midacps have been a little subdued in comparison. Analysts give there views on the stocks within the midcap space.
