DGCA to review IndiGo fleet expansion

India's aviation regulator plans to review the massive fleet expansion plans of IndiGo, the country's No.2 airline, after a safety audit found a shortage of trained staff and alleged operational discrepancies, a report by the regulator shows.

Responding to a financial audit carried out by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on safety concerns of cash-strapped carriers, Kingfisher Airlines (KFA) has said that it is operating its scheduled services with utmost safety.
