Equity funds ends on a flat note led by a volatile market. The session ended with BSE closing down with 59.53 points or 0.36% at 59.53 points or 0.36% and the NSE with 9.10 points fall at 5,039.30.

Equity funds declined in the last trading session owing to weak performance of the markets. In the market session, the benchmark sensex shuts shop at 17301.91 down 16.90 points or 0.10% while Nifty closed at 5239.15 down 9.00 points or 0.17%.

Equity funds ended mixed but positive returns as markets exerted caution ahead of RBIs policy review. The markets witnessed Benchmark-Sensex shuts to closed down at 17243.84 up 21.70 points or 0.13% and the Nifty to end at 5243.60 up 9.20 points or 0.18%.
