LevelNXT Grand Finale: 10 startups to get mentorship, access to marketplace
The Grand Finale of India’s most comprehensive scale-up programme, LevelNXT, was held in early March this year with a glittering ceremony in Bengaluru, during which names of 10 awardees were announced, who will be mentored by top industry experts and get exposure to scale-up their startups.
LevelNXT presented by PwC and FICCI, supported by CNBC-TV18, provided a platform to entrepreneurs to take their startups to the next level, enabling them to reach to their optimum potential and scale-up.
Under this comprehensive programme, startups registered themselves and pitched their ideas to mentors. They were shortlisted through a three-level screening process including multi-city rounds to assess the potential of startups to scale-ups.
Top 30 applicants from across the country were selected, who made their final pitch to the grand jury. Out of 30, 10 startups were shortlisted and awarded at the grand finale.
The ceremony witnessed many discussions and keynote addresses from the experts in the industry. During a one-on-one interaction, N.R. Narayana Murthy, Founder, Infosys, spoke to Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC-TV18, on his bets for the future and how startups should ideate and proceed further to become large conglomerates.
A panel discussion was also held where Meena Ganesh, Co-founder & CEO, Portea Medical; Virendra Gupta, Founder & CEO, Dailyhunt; Arvind Lakshmikumar, Founder& CEO, Tonbo Imaging; Greg Moran, Co-founder & CEO, Zoomcar; and Rajiv Srivatsa, Co-founder & CPTO, Urban Ladder deliberated on what startups should and should not focus on to grow big.
Chief Guest of the occasion Priyank Kharge, Minister of Social Welfare, Govt. of Karnataka also addressed the gathering, and spoke at length about opportunities and vision of the state.
Shyamal Mukherjee, Chairman, PwC India and K Ullas Kamath, Chairman, FICCI Karnataka State Council stressed on the importance of fostering talent and startups and exposing them to the right opportunities.
Initiatives such as LevelNXT provide a platform for startups who are looking for guidance and right mentorship so that they can compete at global platform.
