The role of Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) has matured from driving key financial decisions, to using latest technology to support the same.

The role of Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) has matured from driving key financial decisions, to using latest technology to support the same.

The  modern-age CFO is amalgamating business and technology aspects, looking into the future to serve as a guide to an organisation’s expansion plan and coming out with tech-based solutions to streamline operations and look into innovative concepts.

In this backdrop, CFOs are increasingly relying on data analysis, machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to make meaningful strategies, revolutionise financial transactions, adopt rational risk analysis and create efficiencies.

However, in the process of leveraging tech-based tools to scale-up businesses, organizations are overlooking cybersecurity, which is a critical element for any business. Along with the CISOs and CIOs, the onus is now also on the CFOs to deep dive into the security concerns, avoid any monetary impact on the businesses, and shareholder value.

To enable CFOs to tackle these challenges, Microsoft provides solutions helping them to drive key business decisions using AI and analytics and maintain security at the same time.

A round-table conference, addressing the key requirements and challenges of the CFOs, is also being held, which will discuss the role of new-age CFOs, how AI can help them and how they can maintain cyber security.

Please join us for the CFO RoundTable “Let’s talk Future” on November 29, 6.00pm onwards at Taj Vivanta, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai.
