Bank of Baroda has been the best performing stock among top tier public sector banks and even a couple of high quality private names, over the last one year. The stock has declined around 12%, but that is much lower than the 17-34% slide suffered by most of its rivals. During the same period, Bank Nifty—the benchmark for banks—fell around 15%.
