Consequently, the downstream plants viz. Urea, Methyl Formate, Formic Acid, Acetic Acid, Ammonium Nitrophosphate (ANP) and Toluene Di-Isocynate (TDI) Plants were also shutdown. After attending to the technical problems of Air Compressor of Ammonia Plant, the operations of Ammonia Plant were started and Ammonia production was achieved on 17.7.2008 and the aforesaid downstream plants were subsequently started and stabilized. Methanol - II (Synthesis Reactor) Plant which was under shutdown for revamp has resumed production today i.e. 24.7.2008. All the plants of the Company are now running normal". |
