Portfolio Manager, PN Vijay is bullish on banking space because the valuations are so enticing and going forward the business environment should improve for them.

Vijay told CNBC-TV18, "The PSU banks have been one segment of the market, which has surprised the market on the upside with the resilience of results. One did not expect SBI to come out with the numbers they did. They have taken the firm interest rate scenario in their strive with good volumes. I am generally bullish on PSU banks mainly because the valuations are so enticing and going forward I think the business environment should improve for them. Within PSU banks my picks continues to be State Bank of India and then followed by Bank of India."
