Sensex closes at 15,350 propelled by few stocks

It will close above that 4,600 mark for the Nifty. The Sensex propelled by a few stocks will give a 2% plus bounce today at 15,350 and the midcap index has closed 1.25% down at 5,773. The breadth was not great neither was the volume. 57,000 cr of trade done today, which is bad given that we are 2 days away from expiry.

On a largecap basis it hasn’t been a bad closing for the market, the breadth has been a lot to be desired but lets see if for the rest of the week can build on this somewhat stronger largecap move of the last couple of days. The Sensex has had a reasonably positive close today.
