Mkts up on decent volumes; excellent largecap leadership

Not bad, decent volumes, good breadth, excellent largecap leadership, 6.5% up it certainly is the best trading session so far in 2008. Let us hope we get a few more like this, which gets the market back from that groove of complete despondency that we seem to have slipped into. Early days yet, lots of work to be done we are only at 16,000 still a good 5,500 points below the old high, so no ra-ra yet but quietly positive we will be because it has been a good day and who can grudge us a little bit of celebration after a 1000 point rally after so many days.
