Mindtree, Aztec could be an interesting acqusition

Mindtree Consulting and Aztecsoft could be an Interesting acqusition if they do it because Aztecsoft has had its problems over the last 3 quarters, they are struggling with their one client and so maybe they have considered a sale to a strong domestic player.  I think it fits in nicely because mindtreee would want nice player in the testing space. If the report is indeed correct that it is Rs 400 crore then there might not be too much joy for the shareholders because that is pretty much the market price. Rs 400 crore is Aztecsoft’s market cap today. Then the open offer will not be at a premium to what you are seeing at Rs 77 on the Aztechsoft stock.

So it is good positive development for both the companies but maynot lead to a huge upsurge in the stock if the news report is correct because there is not too much by way of open offer arbitrage.
