Midcap numbers seems to be interesting

It is a big day and I think many largecap names will come in with good earnings today. From the list that one is expecting good earnings, I think Cairn India will come in with good earnings, it would be disappointed if they do not because realizations are higher, volumes are higher they should have a good quarter.

Aban Offshore should have a good quarter because the last quarter was disappointing for Aban Offshore, the stock corrected when the results came in. If they cannot make up with good numbers this quarter then the street will be disappointed. So Aban Offshore better come in with good numbers in this current quarter.

IFCI should be okay no reason why they should be bad. Nagarjuna Fertlisers has gone up quite a bit I don’t know what they will come because they generally don’t surprise with their numbers.

Reliance Capital too is a little difficult to call. The one, which is easy, is Nalco. They should have a disappointing quarter this time because product prices are down the alumina is down as well.

But today I think more than the largecaps, you need to focus on the midcaps because there are at least 25-30 really interesting midcap numbers, which are coming in like Bartronics, Alstom projects.

Sugar has done well this quarter Rana Sugar and Simbhaoli Sugar come in with numbers. So there are lots of interesting numbers and one could have some pleasant surprises there.
