Archies will be quite excited

CNBC-TV18's Executive Editor, Udayan Mukherjee : Videocon surprises from time to time by trying to buy things in a very diverse and unrelated sectors, so maybe it is more Venugopal Dhoot wanting Archies. But I don’t know whether they will be able to pull it off because the Archies promoters might not want to sell at anything close to the current market price because the stock is trading at lows. It is just Rs 60 crore market cap for Archies at this point in time. So if one wants a controlling stake of 50% then one can buy that at Rs 30 crore.
 
It could happen that some of this smallcaps and midcaps have got hit so badly and are not trading at such ridiculous market caps that some people with cash will try to buy some of these interesting franchises at little bit higher than what their current bitten down market prices could be.
 
I don’t know if Venugopal Dhoot pull off Archies but I think the stock will be quite excited this morning on back of that buzz.
