The importance of note taking could not be emphasised better. While reporters at Connect 2006 - a conference and exhibition on the information technology and communication sectors organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry - were seen with paper notepads, a few stalls at the venue had PCs and laptops, specially supporting note-taking capability. The Hewlett Packard stall featured the recently launched Tablet PC. The 1.8 kg tablet comes with a dual core processor and can be connected to notebook accessories like memory devices, wireless support, communications devices and other computer peripherals.
Worried about peeping toms? The tablet PC comes with a unique screen (filter) that can be viewed only at 90 degree angle. So if anyone tried to copy your notes over your elbow, all he would see is a blank screen. contd on page 2.... |
