Technical Analyst, Sudarshan Sukhani is of the view that Maruti Udyog a better play for long term.

Sukhani told CNBC-TV18, “For the short-term, both Maruti and Tata Motors have almost the same charts, so it becomes very difficult to say this is better or that is better but I do think that for a longer-term, Maruti has a chart that certainly is showing relative strength versus Tata Motors. So if the investor is an investor in Tata Motors, he should switch to Maruti because Maruti does appear to be a better play in the longer-term. In the shorter-term, I do not think either of these stocks are going to do much, so it is a call that one can make.”
