Tata Steel an excellent buy: PN Vijay

Investment Advisor, PN Vijay is of the view that Tata Steel is an excellent buy and top pick in metal sector at beaten down levels.

Vijay told CNBC-TV18, "We did buy Tisco today. Around Rs 650 levels, Tisco is an excellent buy. Considering the villains of this whole drama are people like Tisco who are making a lot of money on steel prices. So, we cannot be one side killing Tisco for having good prices and other side killing the people who use Tisco’s products."

He further added, "Even given the high cost of production, Tisco with the surprising numbers they gave from Corus is I would say my top pick in the metal sector at these beaten down levels."
