VVLN Shastri of Firstcall India Equity Advisor is of the view that one can stay with Bharti Airtel from medium-term to long-term perspective.

Shastri told CNBC-TV18, "In Bharti Airtel the subscriber base today is around 60 million, which is inclusive of mobile broadband users and fixed line users put together. Even the company for its expansion drive has well risen good amount of funds to the extent of around USD 1 billion from Temasek and about USD 250 million from Kohlberg. So this all good pedigree PE equity funds and overall and above the company on YoY basis its definitely showing 40% average growth rate on topline and about 35% in terms of bottomline. But the only hitch the company has faced was in the Q3; so in Q3 on sequential basis there was a slight amount of degrowth on the part of PAT line, so that trend may improve in terms of growth in the Q4. So definitely one can hold on to the stock and on forward earnings basis it’s quoting at a multiple of 25. So it’s a good bet for anyone to hold from medium-term to long-term perspective."
