Hemant Thukral of Asian Markets Securities is of the view that Larsen and Toubro is a better bet than Bharat Heavy Electricals .

Thukral told CNBC-TV18, "It was for some quite time that we were seeing them getting laggard. Definitely there is some buying especially in both the bellwethers like L&T and BHEL which is helping the index also but BHEL is seeing more of short covering. So L&T is a better bet out of the two."
