Buy Aishwarya Telecom: D Mehta

Dipan Mehta, Member, BSE/NSE is of the view that one can buy Aishwarya Telecom. But at this point of time, portfolio planning point of view it is better to go for some of the largecap safe stocks, because there is always a management risk for companies like Aishwarya Telecom.

Mehta told CNBC-TV18, "Aishwarya Telecom is a very interesting story given that its into telecom equipment space measuring equipment and presently its partly into trading but has got plans for scaling up the business in terms of manufacturing and further distribution of due products as well. Given the kind of expansion, which we are seeing in the telecom sector in terms of investments, which have been planned, this company should do very well going forward. But then at this point of time considering the way the market is the investor should try and go for blue-chip stocks, managements which have very strong track record and excellent visibility because those stocks are available at attractive valuations, which is not usually the case when the markets start going up and there are bullish trends in the market."

He further added. "Stocks like Aishwarya Telecom and within its peer group some of the other telecom equipment players may be a good buy. But at this point of time, portfolio planning point of view it is better to go for some of the largecap safe stocks, because there is always a management risk for companies like Aishwarya Telecom."
