IFCI announced its Q2 FY08 result. The company in the second quarter of current fiscal posted net profit  of Rs 497 crore versus Rs 116 crore in the same quarter previous year, a growth of 329%. During the corresponding quarter, its total income was up 83.1% at Rs 595 crore versus Rs 325 crore.

In Q2 its PBT includes write-back of Rs 348 cr on account of bad assets.

Other income includes interest on IT refund Rs 132 crore, which boosting net profit.
