SBI Q1 cons net profit up 15% at Rs 1641 cr

State Bank of India has declared its consolidated results for the quarter ended June 2008 (Q1). The bank's consolidated NII was up by 7.1% at Rs 4818 crore versus Rs 4497.4 crore. The bank's Q1 consolidated net profit was up by 15% at Rs 1641 crore versus Rs 1425.9 crore. Provisions were at Rs 1550 crore versus Rs 160 crore.
