HUL Q2 net profit at Rs 558 cr

Hindustan Unilever has announced its results for the quarter ended June 2008 (Q2). The company's Q2 standalone net profit was at Rs 558 crore versus Rs 493 crore on YoY basis. The company's standalone net sales were at Rs 4215.6 crore versus Rs 3481.4 crore on YoY basis. The company's HPC Biz was up by 20%, foods was up by 14%. Its domestic FMCG HPC revenue was at Rs 3044.5 crore. Its Soaps and detergents revenue was up by 20.7% at Rs 2020.5 crore versus Rs 1673.3 crore. The Personal prod revenue was up by 18.6% at Rs 1068 crore versus Rs 900.5 crore. The Beverages revenue was up by 15.5% at Rs 421.4 crore versus Rs 364.7 crore. Its Processed food revenue was up by 12% at Rs 149.9 crore versus Rs 133.8 crore.
