Mr. Vinod Juneja has been appointed as the Managing Director of Binani. He was earlier Deputy Managing Director of Binani Metals - Braj Binani Group of Industries with an annual turnover of around Rs. 1800 Crore which has interests in Cement, Zinc and Glass Fibre. Mr. Juneja has wide experience in the field of Banking and Finance. As Binani group is on the growth path of expansion, Mr. Juneja’s leadership will take the group to a new height.

Before joining Binani Group, Mr. Juneja was Deputy Managing Director, Bank of Rajasthan Limited and Chairman on the Board of Bharat Overseas Bank Limited (now Indian Overseas Bank). Mr. Juneja started his career in the Banking sector with Syndicate Bank. He later joined Export-Import Bank (EXIM Bank). Mr. Juneja joined SANWA Bank of Japan as Deputy CEO. SANWA is considered to be fourth largest Bank of the world with a business size in India amounting to more than US $ 800 mn. He also worked in Choung Bank of South Korea as Dy. CEO and became instrumental in establishing Bank’s business operations in India, right from obtaining RBI and Govt. approval to setting up the branch. Mr. Juneja was also associated with Sumitomo Bank of Japan (now known as Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation - after merger of Sakura Bank) as Dy. CEO.

In recognition to his services in various fields Mr. Vinod Juneja has received various awards, some of which are ‘UDYOG RATNA AWARD’ from the Institute of Economic Studies (IES), New Delhi; ‘BHARAT GAURAV AWARD’ from India International Friendship Society, New Delhi in January 2005 and ‘GOLD STAR AWARD’ from the Institute of Economic Studies (IES), New Delhi in February 2005.

Mr. Juneja was the member of the Personnel & Legal Committee and Bank’s Sports Board of the Indian Banks’ Association. He is also a member of Rotary Club of Mumbai.
