Senior Management appointments at HSBC cos in India

Vikramaaditya has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Asset Management (India) Pvt. Ltd. He takes over from Sanjay Prakash who will take up a senior position within the HSBC Group. Vikramaaditya joined the HSBC Group in 1998 and has held key positions in cash management and securities services for HSBC in India. Prior to this appointment, he was Head of HSBC Securities Services for India with responsibility for the Custody, Fund Accounting and Corporate Trustee businesses for the Bank in India. HSBC Securities Services is the largest sub-custody provider to foreign institutional investors, servicing about 40% of FII investment in the country. Vikramaaditya has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Kapil Seth, until now head of Corporate Banking in South India, will take over Vikramaaditya’s role and will be the Head of HSBC Securities Services for HSBC India. Kapil joined HSBC in 1996 and has held positions across Personal Financial Services and Global Banking functions. He has Global Banking experience across diversified sectors and clients based across various locations in India. Kapil Seth has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and Economic Honours degree from St. Stephen’s college, Delhi University. Sourced From: HSBC |
