Time to celebrate, time to rejoice and cheer! Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, India's hottest radio station has become even hotter as the station bagged 13 sizzling metal at the 33^rd Radio and Television Advertising Practitioner's Association of India (RAPA) awards held in Mumbai on Tuesday, May 13 2008. 

Mumbai's Jeeturaaj was awarded the coveted Best Radio Jockey (Male) and Chennai's Deva was named Best Female RJ. Sunil Grover of Corporate got the Best Voice award while Pandit Vinod Sharma Award for Best Copywriter went to Riya Mukherjee. Arvind Raghu of Chennai got both the Best Movie Trailer and Best Radio Jingle in Tamil followed by Mumbai's Harry and Kunal Pandit for Best Movie Trailer in Hindi.

Other accolades included Best Scripts for January 26 Republic Day Jhankis to Ravi and Riya of Delhi, Best Humour based sponsored programme to Klimax Kothanda of Bangalore, Best Radio Spot in Telegu to Mirchi Hyderabad, Best Radio Promo in Bengali to Pujo of Mirchi Kolkata, Best Radio Jingle in Marwadi to Mirchi Jaipur and Best Radio Promo in Gujarati for Gandhi Jayanti to Mirchi Vadodara.
