The world’s largest network of independent marketing services firms, Worldwide Partners, Inc., (WPI) has selected Pressman to be its partner in India. Founded in 1968, Kolkata based Pressman Advertising & Marketing Ltd is headed by Dr. Niren Suchanti and Navin Suchanti and has capitalized billings of over Rs.250 crores. Each partner in the network is a shareholder and Pressman will pick up equity stake in WPI. WPI is a new-breed, collaborative network of marketing services firms, focused on middle-market businesses. It is comprised of 92 agencies in 51 countries with 149 offices and over 4400 employees. WPI’s capitalized billings of US $4.1 billion makes it the 9th largest marketing communications organization in the world. Al Moffatt, President and Chief Executive Officer of Worldwide Partners, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, USA said, “We’re a flat-world network for a flat-world economy. Each partner firm is hand-selected for its progressive and innovative approach. In short, we have the critical mass and skills of the agency conglomerates coupled with the flexibility of the independents. We’re very happy to have Pressman join us”. Lisa Kettman-Kervinen, Director, EMEA Collaboration, Worldwide Partners, added, “We’re a bottom-up agency network whereby our partner agencies own us rather than us owning them. We provide the resources and the global outreach to help our partners achieve greater profits and revenue while the partner agencies work together to build each other’s business and service clients internationally”. Worldwide Partners, Inc., which began in 1938, has more than many network-wide international clients, including Wal-Mart, Caterpillar, 3M, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Vonage, Hormel International, and Novartis.
