Newgen strengthens presence in South East Asia

Newgen Software Technologies limited, a leader in the field of Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) announced that it has secured a landmark deal with TienPhong Bank in Vietnam. This order marks Newgen’s entry into Vietnam, further strengthening its leadership position in South East Asia.

 

TienPhong Bank is one of the new banks to start operations in Vietnam. The bank has recently received its establishment and operation permit from the State Bank of Vietnam.  The bank is complimented with diverse products and services portfolio and wants to grow by creating a modern bank in operations and structures right from the time of its inception.

 

The bank chose Newgen solution, consisting of OmniDocs and OmniScan, to automate its branches and provide better customer service leading to enhanced productivity and faster decision making. The solutions will help the bank to align all bank records across various LoBs of the bank in a digital archive.

 

Talking on the occasion Diwakar Nigam, Managing Director, Newgen Software said, "We are happy to partner with TienPhong Bank in their endeavor to strengthen their operations and meet the challenges emerging from a rapidly evolving Vietnam market.”
