In an annual review of leading tax firms around the world, International Tax Review (ITR), a Euromoney publication, has ranked BMR & Associates Second in India along with KPMG and ahead of Deloitte. "An impressive client list and a well equipped team to deal with it means that BMR & Associates is clearly one of the leading firms in India. The firm has grown from 140 professionals in 2006 to more than 185 professionals in 2007. They boast a significant representation in government and international policy forums, as well as a wide network of external counsel and are part of the global Taxand network of independent tax firms. Many international law firms refer cross-border tax restructuring and transfer pricing engagements to BMR," ITR said.
Mukesh Butani, Partner and leader of the tax practice commented:"Rankings are an endorsement in our effort to be recognized as a professional services firm that continuously seeks to provide value to our clients.“ The professional services firm provides services in the tax and regulatory areas and has 15 partners as executive directors. BMR & Associates is three years old and has a client list of more than 200 companies. Leading international companies such as Cadbury Schweppes Asia, FedEx, IBM, Lehman Bros, Lufthansa, and AES Transpower are some of the clients who choose the firm for their needs. It is a founder member of Taxand (www.taxand.com), the first global network of independent tax firms formed in March 2005. Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers were ranked as the Tier 1 leading tax firms. Sourced From: Coffee Communication Solutions |
