Infosys BPO, the business process outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies announced that three of its leadership executives have been ranked as superstars in the recently unveiled FAO Today global Superstar Rankings. Amitabh Chaudhary, MD and CEO, Infosys BPO, Ritesh Idnani, VP & Global Sales Head, Infosys BPO and Michel de Zeeuw, Vice President at Infosys (Former SVP global finance at Philips) have been ranked as superstars along with the global leaders of the industry.

While Amitabh has been conferred the honour for his leadership and charge for last year's ground-breaking deal with Philips Electronics, Michel de Zeeuw ensured that the integration  of 1400 employees was smooth and effective under last year’s spectacular deal of $ 28 million.

Ritesh Idnani,  VP and Global Sales Head Infosys BPO was also honoured for establishing Infosys as the fastest-growing FAO provider in 2007, with groundbreaking and innovative approaches to deal structure, technology, and implementation.

Now in its fourth year, the 2008 FAO Superstars list features 27 buyers, 24 advisors and opinion leaders, and 33 providers.  The list has grown in stature, just like the global FAO market and includes major players around the globe. While it has not experienced the explosive growth seen in previous years, FAO is expected to continue to burgeon, according to Nelson Hall’s most recently available BPO Index (3Q 2007).

“Infosys BPO is delighted to receive this ranking. We have a robust F&A practice and the ability to deliver F&A services seamlessly from multiple global locations. This, coupled with process excellence and our transformational approach, reinforces our leadership position in the fast growing FAO segment. This recognition validates our strategy and the significant investments we have made in our F&A practice to add measurable business value to our clients,” says Amitabh Chaudhry, CEO & MD, Infosys BPO Limited.

According to Elliot Clark, CEO FAO Today, "Clearly, Infosys BPO has ascended to a position of global dominance in the finance and accounting outsourcing and transformation industry.  When one thinks of a company that can manage large, complex engagements in multiple geographies, Infosys is now on the short list of top choices and their leadership is to be commended."
