The CNBC-TV18 Emerging India Awards that honour the best small and medium enterprises in India have been announced at a glitzy ceremony in London and Impetus is one of the top three finalists in the ICE, IT and ITeS category. Impetus CEO, Praveen Kankariya, attended the awards ceremony in London, was honored by the presence of stalwarts such as Commerce Minister Mr Kamal Nath and Steel tycoon Mr Lakshmi Mittal

One of the largest Awards in India, the Emerging India Award ‘08 received more than 3,00,000 enterprises in the fray across 17 main categories this year. Chosen after a robust 3 phase methodology, powered by CRISIL ,this year the awards have put into perspective the global evolution of India’s Small and Medium Enterprises.

 

The Emerging India Award is India’s Biggest Business Award and is the last word on best performing SMEs, India’s dynamic new growth drivers. Powered with the capability of shaping the future of Indian SMEs, this is India's most definite platform for recognition and felicitation of Small and Medium Enterprises. This award aims at recognizing the best sustainable value creators among small and medium enterprises in the country. A pioneering initiative to promote and recognize the undying entrepreneurial spirit of our country, this award ceremony is being conducted for the 4th year in a row now.

 

Impetus has been growing at an exponential pace of more than 50 % year on year. Impetus works on leading edge product engineering, on latest and emerging technologies like BREW, Symbian, Ruby on Rails, and J2ME, etc. for diverse client base across domains such as Digital Media, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Mobile Applications, Web2.0, IPTV, and Internet Advertising.
