Impetus Technologies (www.impetus.com), the pioneer in outsourced product development and engineering services, today conducted a free eye check-up camp at its Noida Campus in collaboration with Tirupati Eye Centre (Noida). The camp is a part of Impetus’ Corporate Social Responsibility program, run under the aegis of its CSR team called iCare. A large number of employees were examined by the eye specialists. They were checked for Vision Check up, Color Vision Check up, Spectacle power Check up, Eye Exercises Check up etc. A continuous education program was also run with a "power point presentation" at the camp venue. Speaking on this occasion, Mrs. Shoba Chetty, Director HR, Impetus Technologies said, “Eyes are a critical organ in the human body, but also probably one of the most neglected. Regular eye check up is very important, more so with increase in time spent in front of the computer screen. By organising this Camp, we are trying to help our employees to take a closer look on the care and attention their eyes might need and providing them an opportunity to take out some time from their work schedules to take care of themselves.” Impetus regularly organises various CSR related Camp at its campuses. Its in-house institution, iCare, focuses on initiatives for community services. The company organized Blood Donation Camps in February, this year and has plans to continue to work on community and employee welfare through more such health and wellness related events.
