IGT, the pioneer in IT and Travel solutions, has achieved one of the top honours in the world renowned Black Book of Outsourcing. The Black Book of Outsourcing: How to manage the Changes, Challenges and Opportunities is from the Brown-Wilson Group. The bestselling management book has placed IGT among the top BPOs. IGT has acquired the 4th place as the overall service provider. The Black Book of Outsourcing is the premier outsourcing guide and the travel giant's placement amongst the 400,000 users is a prestigious recognition.

It takes much effort and time to establish and communicate value, capability and breadth. For IGT the Black Book is a key element in this process. IGT has been ranked in various categories such as employee performance, viability, trust, customization, compensation and employee performance, client relationships, scalability and flexible pricing, deployment and implementation.

The IGT team has shown a commendable performance to achieve this placement and has challenged itself to exceed these for the next year. Vipul Doshi, CEO for InterGlobe Technologies, stated, "We are delighted to have received this recognition from our valued clients. Our team members work hard everyday to improve the level of service they provide. We operate our BPO facility as an extension of our client's office and each member of our team takes a personal, vested interest in the success of the client they represent." The coveted annual report seemed to echo Mr. Doshi's comments.

IGT began expanding its operations in 2008 in the areas of banking, financial services and insurance, utilities, procurement and the domestic Indian market.Beginning in January of 2008, IGT also began marketing its ITO & BPO services in North America as IGT. Stephen Smith, IGT's Chief Marketing Officer stated, "The outsourcing industry is filled with service providers of various sizes, IGT has proved once again that size does not necessarily demonstrate capability. I am proud of our teams and their continued focus on what matters most, the customer experience."
