Aimed at improving collaboration and reducing cost, the contract entails project management and deployment of Cisco TelePresence 3000 solution by Datacraft India.  

Internationally renowned for its specialised courses on transcendental meditation and Vedic education, the state-of-the-art university boasts of multiple campuses, study centres and Partner Institutions that span across the globe. The global campuses in India are located in Karaundi near Jabalpur and Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

With such an extensive nationwide coverage, the TelePresence solution provides an ideal alternative for the university to cut down on the frequent travel of its lecturers within and outside of India, whilst addressing the challenge of improving communication timeliness and efficiency.  In addition, the solution also makes knowledge sharing and courseware dissemination seamless among the lecturers and students.

The Cisco TelePresence 3000 solution comprises a three-panel, 65-inch plasma screen system complete with a specially designed table that seats six participants on one side or a "virtual table" for 12. It supports life-size images, using ultra high-definition video and spatial audio.

The life-size images and video clarity of the Cisco TelePresence 3000 solution allows the participants to see every expression, while the CD-quality audio ensures that every word can be heard.
