Acer India, one of the world's top three branded PC vendors announced their latest exclusive retail scheme, designed specifically for their branded retail stores across the country for JAS 2008 Quarter. Continuing its commitment towards ensuring retailers have best in class schemes & are high on motivation, “Ek Se Badhkar Ek” is open to all Acer Malls and Acer Points across the country.

“Ek Se Badhkar Ek” has been designed to reward retail partners via a host of schemes available to them on a monthly and quarterly basis which is over and above the regular schemes available for the channel partners. These include monthly booster schemes, rewards for achieving quarter targets and rewards for focusing on Projectors and Premium Products. All of which contribute to the high levels of positive energy and motivation exhibited by Acer brand stores across the country.

Mr. S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing officer, Acer India said, “The retail industry is flourishing in India. Today consumers have the opportunity to choose from multiple brands and retailing has become a key medium to reach out to customers. In such a scenario, it is very important to reward and recognize the efforts of our retail community. This incentive scheme is one of the many initiatives that we have for our retail partners. Acer has always set new standards in everything it has pursued. Recognition as innovators and a reputation as leaders in our field is something that we have always strived for”.

The “Ek Se Badhkar Ek” scheme is divided into five sub schemes called - “Mr. Consistent”, “The Projector Challenge”, “Acer Intel Challenge”, “Acer MS Hungama”, & the “Acer King Club”. The “Mr. Consistent” contest is a monthly booster scheme that rewards those partners who achieve their target in the first 15 days of the month. The “The Projector Challenge” awards those retailers who focus and up sell Acer Projectors The other initiative in partnership with Intel to reward partners who sell machines with a pre loaded Intel Pentium Dual Core and Intel Core 2 Duo based Notebooks and Desktops is the “Acer Intel Challenge”. The “Acer MS Hungama” contest is a reward program based on Acer’s premium lifestyle product. Lastly, the “Acer King Club”- is a big challenge that goes out to retailers who achieve 200% of their assigned target for the quarter and have the opportunity to walk away with a Fabulous Mystery Gift.

Acer has consistently run quarterly retail schemes for more than 3 years now and is probably the only brand in this industry which has such schemes running exclusively for its retailers’ quarter on quarter. Qualifiers on these retail schemes get rewarded with the chance to attend the quarterly retail conferences, which have been held in the most exotic of locations. Some of the past destinations include Bentota, Bali, Dubai, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Kumarkom and Goa. Acer today has a massive retail network of over 275 retail stores spread across 125 cities and towns in India. This also includes over 100 exclusive retail stores (Acer Malls).
