Taurus MF appoints Amit Gupta as Country Head-Retail Sales

Taurus Mutual Fund has appointed Mr. Amit Gupta as Vice President and Country Head – Retail Sales.

An MBA from the class of 98 specializing in finance, Amit has been in the mutual fund industry throughout his decade old career. He spent 9 years with Birla Sun Life Mutual fund in diverse roles across geographies. During his stint at Birla Sun Life AMC, Amit headed the Southern Zone, Institutional Business- Western Region and the state of UP.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Waqar Naqvi, CEO Taurus MF, said “Amit brings with him a perfect blend of functional expertise, leadership qualities and depth in terms of exposure to various business sub segments and geography.”
